Historical information
The Elverland, a New Zealand barque, was in Victoria in August 1906.
It was wrecked in January 1907 near the Three Kings Islands (Manawatāwhi) on its way to Auckland from Newcastle with a cargo of coal.
Captain Savory and his men were saved.
