Contains a copy of the agreement dated 23-8-1912 between the Australian Tramway Employees Association with the Melbourne Tramway & Omnibus Company Limited, and a supplemental agreement dated 12-8-1913. See item 6340 for a digital copy and its historical significance in detail. Additional fold-out sheets have been inserted to detail the changes made to the agreement over time. Each section has been cut and pasted into the book with handwritten notes and names in some places.

Significance

Yields information about the first agreement between the Melbourne cable tram operator and the Union that represented the workers.
