Chris Marks studied at RMIT, and was an artist. She also contributed to the art and cultural life of Eltham Shire (later Nillumbik shire,) encouraging its artists at all levels. She was curator of collections for Nillumbik Council from 1991 to 2006. She died 19 April 2007. She was married to John, their children Bianca and Ben. He served in the cabinet, as Minister of Education and Treasurer in the Bracks and Brumby governments. He was appointed leader of government in the legislative council whilst the ALP were in power. The Anglesea RVIB Auxiliary formed on June 29, 1960. This collection of papers includes the minute books from 1960 until 2010, missing 1968-1972 and 2006-2010. The index cards were maintained by RVIB and contain the amount of donations made by the Auxiliary between 1976-1995, as well as the presentations delivered by RVIB employees to Auxiliary meetings between 1978-1985. A brief summary of the Anglesea auxiliary history had been hand written by Secretary Mrs Elsie Samuel in 1986. The list records the opening dates of branches in Carnegie, Caulfield East, Caulfield South, Elsternwick, Glen Huntly, Murrumbeena, Ormond, Garden Vale, Caulfield and Caulfield West encompassing years from 1886 to 1927, listing also the merger of the two banks as being in 1970 as well as 1852 as being the founding year of the English, Scottish, and Australian Bank Limited. 2. Three identical Elsternwick State Savings Bank withdrawal slips, from the 1910s. All three are blank, and include brief directions for filling in the slip typed at the bottom.
