Stone of which wall is constructed is believed to have been used in the construction of Jamieson's Buninyong Inn, built for Margaret Jamieson starting about 1853. She owned the earlier Buninyong Inn which impinged on they surveyed Learmonth St. and was demolished. Margaret died in 1854 before the building was completed by her son, who built the third Buninyong Inn on the corner of Learmonth and Warrenheip. A chronicle of officials of the G.C.C. during 1909. This honour board has an important place in the history of the Geelong Cycling Club and signifies the high esteem in which the community held cycling in the early part of the 20th century. Decorative wooden frame around individual photographs on oval ceramic plates and mounted on a wooden background. These are surrounded by pressed metal floral decorations. Ned Ryan was a local resident and former shearer who became a permanent resident and then green keeper. He was a valued member of the club and was the father of the current green keeper, Hugh Ryan. This event was created in his memory in 2003. The Honour Board was donated by Mr D. W. Rogers (David but always known as Bill) who was a long time summer resident of the town. Images were taken by a staff member of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers Mill in Newtown, a MR. Norm Holroyd. The photos were taken between the 1960s-1970s. They were developed in his own private dark room and kept at his home for private viewing. Upon his death, the album went to his daughter, Judie Holroyd, who has donated them to the National Wool Museum.A collection of 38 black and white images, each individually mounted on cardboard backing, showing scenes of various stages of fabric production at the Returned Sailors and Soldiers Mill in Newtown. Made by Inge Cammans in 1998 initially to see if she could create an outfit made entirely of wool. The outfit was then entered in the National Wool Awards competition in 1999 and won first prize.Hand knitted cream and brown outfit consisting of a skirt (kilt), jumper, hat (beret), scarf, socks and bag. Outfit is made using hand spun wool from local East Gippsland area, Perendale and Mohair. The Jubilee History was printed and taken from The Times, Main St. Stawell. Mr. E.C. Grant was Treasurer for 29 years. A tablet placed on the wall above the vestry door to perpetuate the memory of Mr. E. C. Grant, one of the greatest benefactors the church ever had. The inscription reads: In memoriam/ erected by the congregation of St Matthew's/ in memory of / The Stirling worth of / Edmund Craigie Grant/ who died 4th July 1894/ aged 63 years.
