Small wooden boomerang shaped badge attached to a small 1941 calendar in the form of a printed paper booklet. The boomerang badge has a safety pin attached to enable it to be attached to clothing. A standard issue RAAF blue Other Ranks' woollen forage cap with oxidised brass RAAF badge on left hand side. The two buttons at the front are made of black plastic. The cap is lined with black cotton fabric. The crown opening has been sewn up with large black running stitches in heavy black thread. A rectangular shaped white cotton maker's label that bears various markings indicating size, year of manufacture, etc. is sewn inside the left hand side of the cap. A label attached inside the cap has the following: "V 330, 1944, MADE IN AUSTRALIA, SIZE 7" and the D^D marking with the letters "A F". Souvenir tea towels made for the 40th anniversary commemoration of the formation of the Australian Women's Army Service which was formed on the 13th August 1941. There are eight of these linen tea towels screen printed in colour on a plain background. There are blue, maroon and green examples. The tea towels feature the badge of the A.W.A.S. Embroidered with the Australian Commonwealth Military Forces badge the Australian and British flags surrounded by a plant with flowers in green and blue threads.
