Adams, Bendigo Branch National Trust re: the Bendigo City Council that: a) as from 1st September 1960 all new verandahs erected across a footway, must be of the cantilever type b) all non-cantilever type verandahs, erected across a footway, must be demolished before 31st December 1970. The trust has been asked for "its views on the desirability of retaining any post type verandahs which it considers worthy of preservation".
