This scout hall was the former Gospel Mission Hall (Pentecostal Church) which was built in 1910. The scouting movement (1st Sunshine) took over the hall for their use in 1921. The hall was sold by the scouting movement in 1994 to a private resident. The hall was demolished, and a residential house was subsequently built.
The image of the hall on this advertisement is a rare image of the church hall that was built in the early 20th century.
