Artist’s Statement: "In the vast, silent emptiness of Lake Mungo, my creative spirit surfaces. At sunrise it enters into a dance with nature; the low morning sunrays captured as framed abstractions.
The return of the image to its ‘place of origin’ is a symbolic gesture; it reunites it with the land. The fragility of the photograph as nature now imposes further layers upon it, and is reflective of the sensitive environment of Mungo."
