"Global warming has finally entered the international consciousness. In Australia, 10 years of drought brings about a question for the nation: is this a 'natural' drought or is it induced by human action/inaction.
SandT(r)ap is merely one more input into the discussion. Sand trickles from the tap, representing a type of dry desperation, and perhaps the concentric circles (aboriginal symbols for water hole or place) symbolise the misunderstandings that non-indigenous Australians apply to the management of this dry continent. new understandings may be required."
