The spine has the title and RTS symbol for the publisher printed in gold lettering. The frontispiece illustration depicts a woman and a man with a boy in football clothes talking. It is covered with faded tissue paper. He was a Life Member of the Melton Mechanics Institute In 1875, he married Mary Elizabeth Coates on the 30th December at the home of Mrs Coates, Thomas Lang of Norton’s Creek aged 26 andMary Elizabeth aged 24 of Armstrongs. Below that reads "MODEL J CAP LAMP Approved Under Lighting Schedule Approval issued to THOMAS A EDISON CAUTION The battery and headpiece housings shall not be unlocked or opened by the lamp user." -

Four Mordialloc-Chelsea High School students outside the school Tuck Shop on the corner of Attenborough Road and Station Street Aspendale. The shop was located across from the school and run by Mr Gustav Fahnert and his family. Mrs Rubina Fahnert nee Brown was the daughter of Thomas Brown who was a son of Hugh Brown, the pioneer market gardener of the Aspendale/Mordialloc area. The Brown's house still remains on the second block from the corner of Station Street and Attenborough Road (as of February 2018).
