ODHS has a wide collection of items of relevance to the Otway districts. Centred at Beech Forest it covers an area from Cape Otway to Princetown, and following the Gellibrand River upstream to Gellibrand.

Our collection

Focussing on the Western Otways from aboriginal times to the present the collection contains a variety of agricultural machinery and the history of the local railway as well as other objects relating to the people and events in the district. Photographs, diagrams, artefacts, newspaper cuttings and books cover the social, agricultural and transport history of the area, with a number of original documents included donated by various people.
