Three years after fires ripped through Ringwood Secondary College, students were finally able to move into their new classrooms. Just as the school was preparing to officially open the replacement buildings two years later, fire struck again. In all, 15 classrooms, the entire administraion area offices, preparatory rooms, students' lockers and 40 years of school records were lost. Principal Peter Cowell said he was delighted and relieved that the buildings were finally opened. Senator Jacinta Collins opened the buildings on behalf of the Federal Education Minister.
