Last Wednesday, the new school facilities were officially opened to replace those destroyed by fires in 1991 and 1992. Senator Jacinta Collins and Bayswater MP Gordon Ashley officially unveiled a plaque in front of the new building, which include eight classrooms, an administration centre and 200 student lockers. School Principal, Peter Cowell said building works had progressed steadily since 1992, and now staff and students could begin concentrating on future projects. The photo shows head prefects for 1996, Lee Wolahan and Kirsten Welsford, with the plaque commemorating the official opening of new buildings at the school.
