Physical description

Long newspaper article (in 2 clippings) covering the Ringwood Mothers' Club celebration of their first birthday at the State School, with visitors from Williamstown, South Melbourne, Fitzroy, Hawthorn and other centres. Mrs Bryant (President), Mrs Matlock (Secretary) and Mrs N. Cooper (treasurer) presided.
The article includes description of outfits, room decorations, offical table guests including the Mayor and Mayoress (cr. and Mrs Blood). Birthday cake was cut by Mrs Bryant. Cr. Blood congratulated the Club on their first year.
"Little Dorothy Beal and Betty Walters" made floral presentations to the Mayoress and Mrs Kloot (president, Victorial Federated Mothers' Clubs).
Toast by Mr Ashley, and response by Mr W. A. Broben. Followed by Community singing led by Mrs Kloot.
