RINGWOOD MOTHERS’ CLUB.
In the absence of the president, Mrs J. Anderson, vice-president, occupied the chair at the meeting of the Ringwood Mothers’ Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Other members present were: Mesdames Sanders, A. F. Bisset, Bryant, Adolphosen, Hall, Rowe, senr., V. Rowe, and the secretary, Mrs L. Anderson.
Apologies were received from Mesdames N. Cooper and F. Baner.
It was resolved to forward a letter of sympathy to the president, Mrs Baner, in the loss of her sister, Mrs J. Carmichael, who was a foundation member of the Ringwood club.
General business included the purchase of 5 tons of firewood for the use of the school.
Afternoon tea was provided and served by Mesdames V. Rowe and Hall.
