RINGWOOD COURT OF PETTY SESSIONS
At the Ringwood Court of Petty Sessions on Monday, before Messrs. A. Temple Miles and J. H. Cooper, J.P.’s, Thomas Fleming, of Beauchamp Street, Preston, was charged with riding a bicycle without a light. He was fined 10/-, with 3/- costs.
James Murray was fined 25/-, with 6/- costs, for allowing five head of cattle to wander.
LOCAL AND GENERAL
The mayoress of Ringwood (Mrs. A. Temple Miles) and her elder son Edward returned on Saturday from an extended holiday in Tasmania, the birthplace of the mayoress.

MOTHERS’ CLUB
The annual meeting of the Ringwood State School Mothers’ Club was held on Wednesday evening last. The following officers were elected:
President, Mrs. F. Baner; vice-president, Mrs. Bryant; secretary, Mrs. A. Anderson; treasurer, Mrs. A. F. Bissett; auditors, Messrs. Anderson and Cooper; committee, Mesdames Jones, Sanders, Rowe, N. Cooper, and D. Anderson.
The year ended with a credit of £24/18/5.
A presentation was made to Mrs. Bryant, who resigned from the position of president owing to ill-health.
