Miss Daisy Paddock,
3 Thanet Street,
RINGWOOD.
Dear Miss Paddock,
Upon being advised of your retirement from the Education Department and from your position as Infant Mistress at the Ringwood State School, the
Council resolved that you be furnished with a letter under Seal in recognition of the service you have rendered to the community and to the School which you
have so capably and efficiently served.
During your career, you have spent 28 years teaching children of this City, and have won the affection and respect, not only of the children
of the community and adults whom you taught as children, but also of all other Citizens for the manner in which you have carried out your work and your
interest in community affairs.
In 1956, you were awarded the "Lillian Horner Memorial Prize" for the most outstanding Infant Mistress of the year - the most coveted prize
in your field of work, and a wonderful achievement.
The Council is pleased to place on record its appreciation of the work you have carried out, particularly at the Ringwood State School, and the
members of the Council extend their Best Wishes for your future health and happiness in the years ahead.
Yours sincerely,
Douglas Baxter, Mayor
R. O. Spencer, Councillor
F. P. Dwerryhouse, Town Clerk
