Summary of article:
The Ringwood school community held a farewell for Miss Daisy Paddock, who had been promoted to Infant Mistress at Lilydale H.E. School. At a staff gathering, Mr. Dungey, the headteacher, praised her cooperation and outstanding service, presenting her with a travelling case. Later, at an afternoon assembly, he reminded the scholars of her influence and the esteem in which she was held. Students Ilma Schultz and Joyce Mackell presented her with bouquets, and the scholars gifted her a crystal water jug and glasses. Miss Paddock expressed regret at leaving and encouraged students to always do their best in school and sport. She also received additional gifts from families of both current and former pupils.
