Subject file containing various copies of the City of Boroondara’s ‘Boroondara Bulletin’ including Volumes 1/1, 1/4 (1994), 2/2 (1995), 4 (1997) and Nov 2010. The file also includes some other, later Ward updates. The Bulletin was first issued by the City Commissioners following the forced amalgamation of the suburbs of Kew, Camberwell, Hawthorn etc. into the new City in 1994. The early Bulletins were like local newspapers and reported on community activities as well as Council policy. Additional copies of the Boroondara Bulletin are stored in the Society’s Library.
