It reads: “The Map of Early Kew was drawn by Mr Jesse Dannock, 2nd son of James and Maria Dannock. Map was given to Mrs Rogers by May Ratten, stepdaughter of Jesse Dannock. May Ratten & Mrs Rogers were friends. Mrs Rogers not a blood relation of the Dannock’s!”
