Pte Eric E Bottomley wrote letters home from Egypt and France in the period 1916-1918. These letters were transcribed by John L Torpey in 2010, and a copy of the transcript given to the Society. Pte. E.E. Bottomley was later a member of the Kew RSL Sub-Branch. He lived at various times in Coley House, 177 Cotham Road (Kew) and 6 Holroyd Street (Kew). Peter Ryan donated the original letters to Kew RSL in 2009. The letters were addressed to family members who lived in Kew.
