The Country Roads Board was a Victorian government program responsible for the creation, management, and upkeep of the roads within the state of Victoria. Folded in 2019 into the Ministry of Transport, it’s relation to Kew is due to the head office being stationed at 60 Denmark Street in 1961, which would later come to be occupied by VicRoads. The file includes: A documented history and analysis of the Country Roads Board and its functioning.
