Kew, thanks to its abundance of sporting teams and facilities, has produced many athletes in its history. In 1918, the local section of the Yarra was also used as the stage for Alick Wickham’s world-record high dive. The file includes: numerous newspaper articles regarding athletes and sportspeople from Kew.
