In 1891, the aptly named ‘Monster Petition’ on the status of women’s suffrage in the colony of Victoria came around to the City of Kew, and saw many signatures provided. The petition is known for the 260-metre long list of names and individuals in Melbourne who signed it. The file includes: A piece of work which lists and corroborates local names signed.
