‘Telecom’, otherwise known as ‘Telecom Australia’ is the former name of ‘Telstra’. The company is responsible for telecommunications in Australia, and therefore had its role in Kew. The file includes: Two copies of ‘The Palace of Winged Words’, a short book detailing the history of telecommunications in Australia, as well as ‘100 Years of the Telephone Directory’, a similar book, and a letter addressed to a Mr. John Barth in thanks for the donation of the books.
