Clarrie Thompson was born in Kew in 1912, being related to the builder of the first house in Kew proper, as well as the first British settler born in the area. She lived most of her life in Kew and was a foundation member of the Kew Historical Society, owing to her ties to the early pioneers of the area. She would live to the age of 97, passing away in 2009. The file includes: A personal recollection of Clarrie’s life in Kew which covers a wide history, a letter regarding an absence, a photo of her grandmother, Celia Venn Morgan as a teacher, and a service booklet for Clarrie’s funeral.
