Victoria Park is a large area of green and sports fields sitting on the border of Kew and Kew East. Situated along High Street, it hosts two large ovals suitable for AFL and cricket, as well as cricket nets, multiple playgrounds, half-basketball courts, a skatepark, a tennis club, and the Kew Bowls Club. Many different clubs and teams use Victoria Park as their home ground, most notably the Kew Comets utilise both ovals for AFL matches. The park is also home to a now dead Giant Red Gum, a large tree which despite its passing still stands as a large figure over the southern oval. The file includes: A ticket for a Centenary Picnic in the park, multiple newspaper articles regarding the park, correspondence between residents and local government, a failed proposal and plans for a skatepark, as well as committee papers regarding the proposal.
