By 1992, Sizzler had 74 restaurants across Australia, including multiple Victorian suburban sites but by 2017, only 17 Sizzlers remained nationwide, none in Victoria.

The Sunshine restaurant only had a relative short operating period before it closed down.

In 2026, the store was operating as the Gold Leaf Chinese Restaurant.

Significance
