Historical information

These photographs, taken by The Advocate in 1993, are of the staff of the Melbourne Water Depot located in St. Albans Road, Sunshine North.

The depot was the former Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Water (M.M.B.W.) Depot.

The depot has since closed, most of the buildings were demolished, and the site has been redeveloped as a high-density residential housing estate.
