Historical information

These photographs, taken by The Advocate in 1991, are of Father Nicholas of The Greek Orthodox Community of St. Albans Church 'Aghia Paraskevi' located at 27 - 29 Arthur Street, St. Albans.

Significance

The Greek Orthodox Community of St Albans (Aghia Paraskevi) Parish was established under the leadership of Fr. Synesios Frangos, who guided the community through its formative years and oversaw the construction of the church.

Since 2009, the parish has been served by Fr Demosthenes Nikolaou, who continues to lead its liturgical, educational and community programs.
