These photographs show the Ballarat railway line level crossing at Station Road, Deer Park.
As traffic increased and Derrimut expanded to the south, the crossing became increasingly dangerous and congested. It was ultimately removed when the new road bridge opened as part of the broader level‑crossing removal works.
