Historical information

These photographs, taken by The Advocate in 1999, feature Fr. Stuart Soley celebrating the 40th anniversary of the then-current St Mark's Church building.

The images document a significant milestone in the history of the parish and reflect the church's longstanding role within the local community.

The photographs are also important as a record of a church building that has since been replaced by a more modern structure, preserving an aspect of the parish's built heritage and development over time.
