Historical information

These photographs formed part of a regular feature in The Sunshine Advocate highlighting the condition of local roads, parks, nature strips and other public spaces. In most cases, the locations were reported to the newspaper directly by local residents.

Significance

These photographs are of the original Astron Service Station located at this site.

The site has been redeveloped into a new United Petroleum Service station and a Pie Face outlet.
