Historical information
These photographs, taken by The Advocate in 1998, show the Eclipse Flour Mill, Sydney Street, Albion.
The Eclipse Flour Mill (Former John Darliing and Sons Flour Mill) was part of the early industrial landscape of Sunshine during the first half of the 20th century. It operated near the rail and road freight corridors that made Sunshine a strategic manufacturing hub. The mill produced flour and related grain products for local bakeries, grocers, and commercial distributors.
